About Dan Crislip
Audio director | SkewSound | USA | WashingtonI’m an experienced audio director, sound designer, and composer, with over forty shipped titles and more on the way.
In 2008 I moved to Boston and began my career, first working with Iron Lore Entertainment on a Dawn of War expansion, followed by many years at Harmonix Music Systems. I was lucky to contribute a significant amount of content to the critically acclaimed Rock Band and Dance Central franchises, as well as take on leadership roles on the Beatles and Fantasia titles.
In 2014 I returned to the Pacific Northwest and started an audio outsourcing studio: SkewSound. We have since grown into a nationwide provider of audio resources and established offices in Seattle, Boston, Nashville, and Portland. We’ve also branched beyond games into film, television, and national advertising campaigns.
