Knyght has been playing piano since she was six and playing video games *even longer than that.* And while her instrument studies may have started at that age, her musical journey began much earlier with a love for the score of Tom & Jerry. This captivating blend of classical and jazz music has followed her throughout her life. Realising she could marry her love of games and music, Knyght works as a composer for media.

Particular favourites and strong influences include: Disasterpeace (Hyper Light Drifter, Fez), Joe Hisaishi (Studio Ghibli), and Olivier Deriviere (A Plague Tale, Vampyr) – to name but a few.

Her musical taste is an eclectic mix of genres and her curiosity and experimentation has created an accomplished multi-genre composer. Each project she works on benefits from a customised approach. The choice of focus could be establishing strong motifs, the importance of a solo instrument, a foundation of rhythmic percussion, or something else entirely. Creating a collaborative atmosphere when working with musicians, Knyght leans into the skills and uniqueness of each performer to help bring her composition to life in a natural and refreshing way. Additionally, she utilises her in-depth knowledge of sound design to add to her compositions in creative ways.

Knyght is known for her work in games, principally Minecraft. In 2024 she worked with Oreville studios in partnership with Mojang and Microsoft on the Official Minecraft 15 Year Anniversary. With Spark Universe, she has released a soundtrack to the Aether Legends (Bedrock edition), and has another soundtrack releasing soon. Alongside working with Minecraft studios, Knyght is working with independent game studios such as Fermented Oddity (The Groundskeeper) and Neon Waves. In the world of film Knyght works with Sigil Audio as well as independently. Her soundtrack credits include ‘Fright’, ‘Fairest of Them All’, and ‘Werewolf: Blood Inheritance’.

As a sound designer Knyght has several films and games under her belt working with SemiColon (Blood Orange), Fermented Oddity (The Groundskeeper), Ersatz, and Sigil Audio Post Production. Her varied work provides an in-depth experience of all sound design disciplines: foley, dialogue, sound effects, and ambiences. Using her musical knowledge allows her to create cohesive tonal sounds that bring life to the project.
