Soundlister improvements – here’s how you make the most of them:

By | Soundlister
We’re really happy to let you know that we’ve reworked the front page view, so it’s now much easier to filter results to find exactly what you’re after – check it out here, if you haven’t already. And, as an audio pro, we’d encourage you to do a few tweaks to your profile to make the most of this: Edit your profile to specify your experience level, and to indicate if you specialize in anything in particular. Another tip is to add details to your profile description that show prospective talent hunters what specific skills and tools you master – relevant to the jobs you’d like to land. Simply edit your profile and give it some extra shine. Hope you enjoy the improvements, and you’re very welcome to spread the word about them – and Soundlister! Best wishes, – Asbjoern and Zdravko PS: A recent bug meant that two fields had to refilled each time you updated/edited your profile – that’s now fixed, hooray!

Thanks for the fantastic response! Here are some important tips for getting your profile approved:

Hey everyone, wow – thanks so much for the great response to Soundlister.com! Now that the profiles have started to flood in, here are a few things that are essential for approval: 1. A Youtube/Vimeo/Soundcloud demo is required – we want to make it as easy as possible for visitors to hear your work. Please make sure to use an embed code as outlined. 2. Your profile image needs to be at least 500×500 pixels. We’ve found square images work really well. 3. Please use your real name – artist names are not accepted, as it makes it hard to find out who the person is. 4. Make sure your description is top-notch and gives visitors a good feel for your skills, experience and who you are. This is your opportunity to shine, so better make the most of it 🙂 We approve things as quickly as we can, but if you’re finding that your profile hasn’t been added to the site after several days, please take another look at it to see if you’ve got all the details in there. You’re also welcome to contact us at info@soundlister.com if you have any questions about your submission and approval. Thanks again, – Asbjoern and Zdravko
