In the fall of 2017, I began my school year at the European Film College. I intentionally chose courses that gave me more experience with sound production. I was given a basic introduction to the science framed around sound, to understand the purpose of many common practices within the process of mixing. Mainly, I studied the creative tools and work methods of “Avid Pro Tools”, which allowed me to explore my ideas regarding sound design for film.
In my work process, I try to listen and interpret other peoples’ thoughts to realize their ideas. I had discovered the tools and “film magic” of adding sound to film. Therefore, I have started choosing the official role of sound designer in various productions. My goal is to realize other peoples’ visions in relation with my own area of knowledge or interest.
