About Ahmed Sabbour

I’m a 2015 graduate from SAE Institute in Oxford with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Audio Production (First Class with Honours). My Bachelor dissertation explored the subject of narrative sound design in film. The practical part of my dissertation was composed of a short film that I shot with the help of film students that was narratively ambiguous and through sound design was interpreted three times differently in three separate versions.
I’m currently based in my hometown Cairo, Egypt and working as a sound engineer at a post production studio called Feedback. My responsibilities there vary between dialogue editing, sound effects editing, ADR recording, and dubbing cartoons into Arabic.
