About Chris Gear

I’ve been in music and sound for over 25 years. My OhmLab project is well-known for helping launch several popular tools, online destinations and communities for music producers, sound designers and many other creative types over the years. I make music and sounds for film, television, games, and other popular mediums. I provide training, both privately and at the collegiate level. I’ve also produced countless tutorials, masterclasses, product reviews, artist interviews and more, all in an effort to create more transparency, opportunities and further democratize our creative industries.
