About Christian Manea

I am a sound designer, self-teaching myself using online resources on sound design/mixing and mastering classes. Although I have no job experience, I am currently following an intermediate-advanced guitar course at an art school and working towards an application for a music undergraduate programme.

On sound design projects, I focus on designing or creating sounds from scratch. I like taking up challenges like thinking about a process of how to come up with a sound that you only had in your head. Another aspect of my recent work that I enjoy is field recording with my phone. I believe it is possible to make something sound great even though the sound was recorded with just a phone. I learned that the best recorder you can record sounds with is the one that you have on you.
