About Douglas Wayne Ricketts

I compose music! My first instrumental album “Music for a Dark Film (That Hasn’t Been Filmed Yet)” was released in 2005. In 2008 I garnered a commission for instrumental pieces which were considered for use in a California Highway Patrol recruitment ad and in 2009 I started developing instrumental scores for amateur short features and stock music tracks. I have released seven albums of orchestral, rock, and electronic music as of January 2024 which are streaming on major services such as Spotify, Apple Music, and more, and am experienced at composing original scores for short features as well as stock music libraries.
