About Elaine Christine Gallant

Composer | Emote Music | Canada

Composer and Music Producer based in Quebec City. I am a musical jack-in-a-box. A self-taught guitarist, keyboardist and songwriter, I cultivated a keen interest in Jazz and synthesis before being musically trained in the Navy Cadets. There, I played brass and percussion instruments and was later asked to conduct during parades and shows. I then started to arrange music while playing in several ensembles and blending genres from symphonic to jazz to electronic. After a degree in Languages and Literature and years of songwriting, I learned computer-assisted music production with Berklee Online’s Coursera certifications. I now write music for TV (History Channel, Animal Planet, CTV) and Video games (Optimistic Games) and enjoy perfecting my sound design skills in experimental audio-art projects, Trailer music, instrument building and programming.
