About
Sound designer | CanadaMy passion lies with the technical aspects of for game audio – that magic place where sound design meets code. I am experienced in Audiokinetic’s Wwise and Firelight’s Fmod Studio Middleware but have since started developing my own custom audio implementation and playback solution for game audio and Virtual Reality.
However complex or intricate the player feedback needs to be for a game – I will design systems and solutions atered towards the specific need of any experience. I love solving these kinds of logic puzzles. My mission is to bridge the gap between sound creators and programmers.
I am also knowledgeable in music composition (including interactive music) as well as all areas of the film production cycle including Production Sound & ADR Recording, Sound Effects Editing, Sound Design, Foley, Surround-Sound Mixing & delivery procedures.
My sound career started with my a classical training in playing the Clarinet. During high school I discovered my passion for electronic music and after dabbling in DJ-ing I soon started developing my skills in music production and sound design. After more than two years working in advertising life brought me to the Vancouver Film School to study post production for film. Soon I was introduced to the wonders of game audio and I discovered my true passion.
Especially the playful development cycles at game jams and the collaboration with small teams of developers intrigued me. After a bit of freelancing I joined the indie game audio studio “A Shell In The Pit”, bringing my technical skill to the company.
