About Giulio Scimone

Sound Engineer / Mixer / Producer with a decade of important proven work experience in the recording industry. I started working as a sound engineer in 2010 in London, gaining important experiences in different contexts such as: recording in multitrack / overdubbing both in analogue and in digital and in hybrid scenarios, large scale mix, mix straight to stereo, mix music for video , music productions, editing, vocal comping, tone shaping, dialogue replacement, sound design. Both with emerging artists and with successful artists. After finishing my University Degree in Palermo, 110/110 Cum Laude in History of Music, I moved to London to specialize in sound engineering and music production. From industry-recognized academic studies, NCFE lv.4 Diploma in Sound engineering gained with Distinction at world renowned Alchemea College of Sound Engineering and Music Production, Avid Pro Tools 101-110-201 official certifications, I immediately progressed to cover various tasks in the recording studios starting from the base, evolving my path in my natural role as Sound Engineer / Mixer / Producer. I believe strongly that every project is unique and every music has its own way of expressing, therefore an engineer should not be rusty on methods and techniques but rather go with the flow and try to understand the music being played at best and subsequently adapt the methods to it.
