About Mike Fisher
Re-recording mixer | USA | New YorkMike Fisher has enjoyed an interesting and varied career as an audio professional for 22 years. After graduating from Ohio University he spent the next 2 years working as a live sound reinforcement engineer in New York City. A strong desire for air conditioning forced Mike to leave the live sound business for the recording studio, where he has worked with some of the top professionals in the record business as an assistant, tech, and engineer. In 1991 Mike was introduced to the field of audio post production for video and has never looked back. Currently working at Broadway Video in New York City he has mixed cartoons for Saturday Night Live (for which he won an Emmy), award shows and documentaries for MTV, and comedy specials and series for HBO and Comedy Central.
Mike has been involved in mixing for surround since 1996. He has mixed many DVD titles including “Jimi Hendrix Wild Blue Angel”, “Miles Davis Another Kind of Blue”, “Robin Williams Live on Broadway” just to name a few.
Over the years Mike has enjoyed the interesting challenges and people he has encountered in his career, and looks forward to what the future brings to the audio industry.
