About Peter Smith

Peter Smith creates music and sound design for TV, film, animation, commercials, installations and personal projects. With over 3000 musical compositions already written, some of his recent music can be heard on the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, PBS, TLC, History Channel, Discovery Investigation, A+E and Oxygen. He has also designed and recorded thousands of sound effects and other audio for many clients worldwide.

Peter has over 20 years experience of working with different types of media, often providing complete services for original music score, sound design, foley and final audio post production. His compositions and sound designs have been licensed over 1000 times, and he has released 21 albums since 1999. He also creates audio presets and sounds for London based NoiseSoft, a company that specializes in the development of audio processing software and virtual instruments.
