Yuri Chix began playing keyboards at the age of 5. By the time he was 12, he started making crazy sounds on an old IBM computer. He studied screenwriting, acting, cinema, music, music psychology and audio engineering.

He is a composer, producer, massive sampler, mixer and a beer enthusiast.

Database, his electronic project, along with his long-time friend, Lucio Morais, has rocked the dance floors and festivals all over the world, such as: SXSW (US), SWU (BR), CMJ (US), 35 Denton (US), Tim Festival (BR), Lollapalooza (BR), to name a few.
