About Alex Hollingsworth

My name is Alex Hollingsworth, and I’m a creative and innovative composer, sound designer and re-recording mixer for film, TV and games based in and around London. Currently in my final year of the Creative Sound Design Degree at The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, I’ve worked on a vast range of projects requiring sound and music for all types of multimedia including short films, documentaries, trailers and promotional videos.

I am a Grade 8 guitarist with a Cert H.E in Professional Music Performance, covering aspects from applied technical studies to practical musicianship and theory. Utilising my musical background combined with the desire to create new, original sounds leads to interesting ventures, covering a broad skillset for whatever the job may require. The ability to balance all these elements to create a coherent and engaging final mix is something that’s very important to me and my clients.
