About Andrew J Corbitt
Sound designer | Andrew Corbitt Audio | USA | TexasI am a trained and certified Recording & Mixing Engineer, as well as a passionate composer, sound designer. Familiar with all manner of DAWs and Game Audio software, middleware and engines. I love to explore tech and mics for recording, from studio standards to live sound to field mics, including custom pieces I’ve put together through the years. I have enjoyed foley sessions for games, written tunes and mentored under Bassnectar, and recorded every type of studio session from Voiceover, to symphonic orchestras, to gospel bluegrass, to synth-rock. My passion is bringing my musicality to my work, b/c everything can make music! I play many instruments, but my main loves are prog guitars, Kontakt, and soft synths.
I earned my BA from the University of North Texas in 2010, my Audio Engineering diploma from the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences in 2011, and was previously employed at the world-renowned recording facility Fantasy Studios, in Berkeley, CA. I’ve now been working exclusively in gameaudio professionally since 2018.
