Currently completing my Master of Art Screen – Sound at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS), this course of academic study is complemented with 3 years hands-on experience across sound design, location sound recording, boom operation, mixing and editing on a diverse number of sound and film productions.
Highly adaptable and agile learner, I am driven by my high personal values of respect, integrity, excellence, and innovation. Known for my hard work ethic and punctuality, I take the best from theory and practice-based learning to engage with diverse audiences.
Experienced across multiple screen sound technologies and audio equipment, I now seek an opportunity to continue learning my craft of aural storytelling, whilst contributing to the creation and curation of quality content for a highly respected media company and brand.

• Screen Sound Professional – Selected onto the prestigious Master of Art Screen – Sound at Australian Film Television and Radio School, I am learning and applying advanced knowledge of theory and practice as a screen sound professional. I possess solid experience in sound engineering techniques, sound editing and recording, and the use of both software and hardware tools.

• Creative and Collaborative– Awarded a mentee placement on the SBS/NITV media mentorship in 2016. This 3-year program provided me with a breadth of opportunity from collaboration and networking to practice in filming and editing and live to broadcast. As a result of this program, I acquired accelerated learning and a new network across many facets of film making. Additionally, I successfully secured a 2-month internship with ABC in 2017 and this firsthand opportunity in sound production initiated my passion to pursue further study and specialize in this field.

• Personal Leadership – Founder of my own film production; Suren Films since February 2019, this experience has provided me with a pathway to fulfil a long-term passion for film and production to positively impact society and promote positive diversity in the Australian media.

• Technically Savvy – Experienced across a wide range of audio equipment. Adept with multiple types of microphones, including the small and large condenser, dynamic and ribbon microphones in every polar pattern. Expert with zoom and sound devices recorders, with 2 years + editing experience on Pro Tools.

• Analytical and Organised – focused, methodical and competent in reviewing, analyzing and interpreting information in a variety of formats and using initiative to identify and resolve technical issues to deliver consistently high-quality sound and film project outcomes.
