About Dany Zernitsky

Sound designer | DZ Soundtrack | Israel

Dany Zernitsky is a music producer, multi-instrument player, and sound designer.
He played and learned in the conservatory since he was 6, becoming a multi-instrument player that includes Guitars, Drums, Percussions, Piano, Mandolin, and Winds.
After a few years of autodidact producing and two album releases, he enrolled to study soundtrack at Sapir College, where he worked with upcoming directors, part of which won numerous awards abroad.
Experienced in Directors’ needs for scores, Dany delivers high-quality, precisely tailored cinematic emotional captures. His favorite genre is ‘Impressionism’, which he thinks is highly related to modern and classic soundtrack approaches.
Experimental in nature, he enjoys producing both music and sound designs, usually integrating both in his works.
Two times winner of the 2022 South cinema festival for best original score and for the best sound design for the animation “Red Snow”.
