About

Dario Lanzellotti is an Italian composer, pianist, and sound designer. His passion for authentic, organic sound drives him to explore a wide sonic range that blends classicism with futurism. His productions span from orchestral to electronic music, always with a meticulous focus on sampling and the careful selection of every sound.
After studying at the Luisa D’Annunzio Conservatory in Pescara, Dario moved to Rome, where he graduated in Sound Design at the IED – Istituto Europeo di Design in 2017, specializing in cinema and new media.
His career spans film, television, and advertising, with collaborations with international companies such as Netflix, RaiCom, Bulgari, and Fendi. He has composed music for numerous films and TV series, establishing himself as one of Italy’s emerging talents in the music scene.
In 2018, he composed the soundtrack for Bangla, the film by Phaim Bhuiyan, presented at the IFFR in Rotterdam and winner of several awards, including the David di Donatello, Nastro d’Argento, and Globo d’Oro. In 2020, he worked on the sound design for La Legge del Terremoto, the directorial debut of Alessandro Preziosi, presented at the Rome Film Festival.
In 2021, Dario composed the music and worked on the sound for Up & Down, a film by Lorenzo Vignolo, which won the Premio Solinas. The following year, he composed the soundtrack for the TV series Bangla La Serie, in collaboration with Pino Pecorelli, directed by Emanuele Scaringi and Phaim Bhuiyan.
In 2024, he composed the music for the TV series Never Too Late by Lorenzo Vignolo and Salvatore De Chirico, presented in the Alice nella Città section at the Rome Film Festival.
With an always innovative approach and a continuous search for new sounds, Dario Lanzellotti has established himself as an artist who tells stories through sound, blending tradition and experimentation in a unique way.
