Darren Stone is composer with over 10 years of experience in the music business.
His songs written for Disney have been translated into over 20 different languages with over 50 million YouTube views, a number one Amazon bestseller for Children’s and top 10 in Amazon’s Soundtracks Charts.
Darren has worked and written for producers Steve Hillier (Dubstar, Producer) and manager Darren Michaelson (Smashing Pumpkins, The Sundays et al). Darren is also well known for composing the theme to the BBC’s primetime ‘Live’ format show’s including the hugely successful Stargazing Live, presented by Professor Brian Cox and Dara O Briain.
His theme work extends to branding prestigious awards ceremonies including The British Academy Film Awards (Whizz Kid), The Turner Prize (Whizz Kid) and the premier accolade for comedy programmes, The British Comedy Awards.
In addition to composing Darren has successfully merged his composing talents with sound design orchestrating music and sound work across all Disney channels, the Cartoon Network, Boomerang and more.
Other works include: Scoring for documentaries, winner of Avid’s from Creation to mix, remixing the Power Puff Girls theme song for its European reboot through to sound designing Big Brother’s 2018 celebrity edition.
