About Walter Umenhofer
Sound designer | UKTime based artist with over fifteen (20?) years of experience in dedicated listening and audio production, primarily in the context of sound installation and improvised experimental music. Taught sound and other time based media at “America’s Number One Public Arts University” (according to U.S. News & World Report) for five years. Slowly, though enthusiastically, attempting to transition into post production sound, and sound for other media. Adept at a variety of sound recording and production tools, and have a mega passion for discovering and manipulating everyday objects for sound production.
Gradually developing the ability to better represent his work, i.e., sorry my reel is such a wretched clunker… I’m working on it.
Constantly concerned about human equity, as well as the state of the earth..
