About Edwin Montgomery
Composer | AustraliaEdwin Montgomery is a composer and sound designer based in Australia. From sci-fi films to ballet scores, commercials to documentaries, short films to video game soundtracks, Edwin has proven versatility composing for many genres and mediums.
His game titles include the remaster of the classic post-apocalyptic RPG Wasteland; the epic orchestral soundtrack to Warhammer 40,000:Regicide, which was nominated for Excellence in Audio at the 2015 Australian Game Developer Awards, and many trailers for popular titles including Game of Thrones, Ghost in the Shell, Neverwinter and Homefront. Creating music and sound for videogames has also led Edwin to explore the possibilities of interactive and dynamic music and sound, using tools like Unity, FMOD and Wwise to create interactive works like Neon Cyborg Cat Club.
Moving between the classical and contemporary pop worlds, he specialises in blending electronic and acoustic instruments to create a richly layered, atmospheric sound.
