About Grigoriy Shevchenko
Sound editor | ArmeniaMy name is Grigoriy, and I have been involved in music since I was six years old. My musical journey began with winning competitions in Paris and Rimini, which provided an excellent start to my career. I spent five years playing drums in rock and emo bands, immersing myself in the energy of live performances and the complexity of musical composition.
Over the past three years, I have focused on electronic music and production, allowing me to explore new sounds and styles. Currently, I am studying remotely at the Free University of Moscow, where I am examining the transition to new music that has become unreadable without context. This course helps me gain a deeper understanding of contemporary musical trends and their context.
I have also completed an online course at West Virginia University on the modern music industry, which gave me a clear understanding of business and licensing in the USA. This experience enables me to work effectively as a freelancer, creating music for various YouTube videos.
In the past year and a half, I worked at a startup, organizing a community of sound enthusiasts, creating events, and working with live sound. This role allowed me to develop project management skills and engage with audiences.
I continuously enhance my knowledge and skills by studying literature and taking courses on current topics in the music industry. My passion for music and commitment to self-improvement help me stay at the forefront of musical innovations and find new approaches to sound creation.
