About

Ever since I fell in Love with music I am hunting for the perfect sound. I started playing guitar and bass in different bands of all genres (Reggae, Ska, Rock, HipHop, EDM, Dub) at an early age and started recording and mixing. Through this and my love for using the mixing desk as an instrument/dubmusic I encountered mixing, that up to this day is my passion.

After several years of working as a musician and audio engineer in a local recording studio in the Black Forest I studied Music Design at the conservatory in Trossingen, Germany. Since my graduation I mainly mix and master records of music that inspires me and play drums and bass in several bands.

Additionally I work as a sounddesigner for radio plays and movies, recorded soundscapes and did research in adding sounddesign and music to reading (real time / interactive) on digital devices for Isle Audio.

I studied my craft using Pro Tools and digital tools of all kind while never losing touch with analog processing techniques. Every project is different and I am still excited to find that perfect snare sound that fits the vision of the artist.

Today I run a hybrid mixing and mastering studio with digital and analog gear in the city of Lahr, Germany.
