About

I’m a recovering techie how has worked for numerous high-tech companies and start-ups, including Microsoft, MSNBC, Disney, and Google. For years I have done commercial music for advertising and audio branding, and am very interested in working more in film and collaborative projects.

My company, Sound Ranch, specializes in commercial music and sound design for the film, tech, television, advertising, theater and gaming industries. My unique voicing is an amalgamation of cross-culture instrumentation and styles. I’m as comfortable with hip hop as I am with chamber choral music. I grew up as a jazz pianist. My dad was a jazz trumpet player, and between records of Miles Davis, Lee Morgan, and Freddie Hubbard, I picked up a long-term education in music theory, writing, and phrasing.
