About Josh Allamon

Josh’s experiences recording and playing in a live setting as a musician sparked an interest in sound which drove him to attend Full Sail University for Audio Engineering. Afterwards, he returned to his hometown of Hershey, Pennsylvania where he built a home studio and worked as a sound engineer at live music venues in the area. After taking on a job at a local theatre, he quickly fell in love with Sound Design and the role it played in what was being portrayed on stage. Since then, he has designed and composed original works for stage and various forms of media, including films and podcasts, while continuing to write and tour with his band. This melding of worlds is what drives his unique approach to sound design. ” Being able to apply technical knowledge while playing a creative role is what makes Sound Design so important and exciting to me.”
