About Obai Sukar
Sound designer | SS Media Productions | USA | MichiganI’ve spent 25 years building worlds through sound. At 17, I became the youngest sound designer at Spacetoon, a children’s TV channel broadcasting to millions. Soon after, I graduated from the Los Angeles Recording School in 2005 and went on to build studios in Dubai and Kuala Lumpur while founding Audio-Blast, an academy that trained dozens of producers and sound designers. Since then I’ve produced music and created sound design, dubbing, and mixing for hundreds of shows, songs, ads, and films for international clients — most notably serving as Sound Designer for Cloud Kumo, which won a Student Academy Awards (Silver). In 2016 I founded Karazah Channel, an educational platform that reached over 300 million viewers and earned the Mohammed Bin Rashid Arabic Language Award from the Governor of Dubai. I was also the Audio Director for Eternal Parade, a multinational animation project with hundreds of team members, where I mixed the orchestral score, supervised sound design, directed Foley recording, and mixed the entire production. Sound is my craft and my culture — voices, music, and design woven into stories that endure.
