Oliver Kadel is an award-winning audio engineer and sound designer based in London. In 2014, Oliver founded the immersive audio production collective 1.618 Digital, where he is now Head of Audio. Combining the art and science of sound with the latest technology to provide their clients with innovative and creative ideas, 1.618 Digital specialise in audio production and post-production, offering immersive & spatial audio solutions for 360 video content, interactive VR/AR media, mobile applications and intelligent audio branding. 

Oliver and his team of talented audio architects have produced over 50 immersive projects including branded content, films, music projects, games, immersive installations and experiences and charity work stretching across the globe, in Africa, the Middle East and Europe.  As a lead sound designer Oliver has worked on projects for global brands such as Ford, Ted Baker, O2, John Lewis, Laphroaig and many more, the latter being nominated as Best Branded VR content at the Raindance Film Festival 2017. 

He has also been invited to speak on industry panels such as BVE (Next-generation audio) and Immerse UK (Future immersive audio developments).
