Sound designer | ChinaPhyllis Cheng is a sound designer passionate for crafting superb sound for movies. She has 15+ years of solid experience in this field, specializing in sound design, location recording, ADR recording, foley, dubbing Producer on Disney projects and re-recording mixing. She loves trying new sound experiments and is well known for bringing her valuable creative ideas on different projects.
Phyllis has extensive experience working with famous directors such as Ang Lee, Wong Kar-Wei, Dante Lam, Tony Chan, Daniel Lee, Fruit Chan and Pou-Soi Cheung, as well as sound crews from different countries. She won the Best ADR Re-recorderist award from Golden Reel Award in 2001 and has been recognized by Best Sound Design nominations from HK Film Award and Golden Horse Award many times.
Currently based in Hong Kong, she travels tremendously between Hong Kong, China, Korea, France to meet different production needs of her clients.
