About Richard Feren
Sound designer, Theater | CanadaRichard has been creating soundscores and music for Canadian theatre, dance and film since 1992. He has composed scores for 8 feature films and numerous shorts, along with over 200 plays. Recently, Richard has also been producing various audio dramas, podcasts, and installations, along with producing albums of his music, and a spoken-word album for multimedia artist Bruce Eves. He has won seven Dora Mavor Moore Awards, the 1999 Pauline McGibbon Award, and was the first sound designer ever shortlisted for the 2012 Siminovitch Prize. Many of his theatrical and film scores, along with other albums, are available on Spotify and other streaming platforms.
