About Samuel Hollywood-Summers
Sound designer | UKI am a Sound Designer and Composer for computer games and film, based in Exeter, UK. In 2017 I was awarded a Master of Design (MDes) in Sound for the Moving Image from the Glasgow School of Art. Alongside my dissertation I made a documentary film on Generative Music, and collaborated on many other projects. This was followed by embarking on an eleven month cycle tour, out of which I have edited and scored a travel documentary that was shown at Sheffield Adventure Film Festival 2019. My specialism is in sound design and sound editing to picture, but my wider experience of the filmmaking process helps me to see beyond my own role to the needs of the project more widely. I am currently learning the art of audio programming and implementation for computer games alongside my work in sound design and music composition. A recent videogame project allowed me to focus on the possibilities afforded by adaptive audio, and this is something I am keen to explore in greater depth.
