About Sandra Tavali (Wuan-chin Li)
Composer, Theater | TaiwanSandra Tavali is a former keyboardist of the classical ensemble “Indulge” and the well-know metal band “Chthonic”. She is the composer for the TV documentary “Unknown Taiwan” produced by the Discovery Channel. Also, she was the artistic director of the musical “Dark Baroque.”
Her compositions “Ban Shan” was featured at the International Society for Music Information Retrieval 2014 (ISMIR, Taiwan), selected at Sound and Music Computer Conference (SMC, Ireland), and featured at 2016 klingt gut! Symposium on Sound, Hamburg, Germany; “Dirge” was featured at the International Computer Music Conference 2015 (ICMC, USA), “River, Rim and the Earth” was selected at ISMIR 2015 (Spain), featured at New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival and New York Philharmonic Biennial, “The Wind Bloweth Where It Listeth （風隨意 )”will be featured at WOCMAT-ISMIR 2016.
