Sound Designer | Audio Engineer MSc

Spyros Roumeliotis works as a freelance Audio Engineer since 2016.
He specializes in Audio Post Production for Film & TV, including Sound Design, Editing, Mixing and Soundtrack Composition. Additionally, he works as a Location Sound Recordist and has 4 years of experience as a Live Sound Engineer (FOH). He is also a musician.

Received his BSc in Civil Engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Crete, before going on to earn a Diploma in Audio Engineering at the SAE Institute of Athens and Certificate of Sound Design & Soundtrack from Ionian University (Department of Audio & Visual Arts). Ηe holds an MSc in Sound and Music Technologies from the Hellenic Mediterranean University (School of Music and Optoacoustic Technologies, Department of Music Technology & Acoustics).

Worked with as a freelancer: Indigo View, Aori Films, Long Run Productions, Anemon Productions, Eyeq Creative Media Productions, Pixel Productions etc.
Worked also for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Istorima, Oxbelly, Skroutz, Vouli TV, Region of Crete etc. Projects he has participated in, have been shown on: ARTE, Cosmote TV, ERT, Vouli TV, Crete TV
And several collaborations with independent directors and filmmakers.
Interests: Ambient Music Design, Drone Music, Sound Art, Field Recording, Documentary Sound, Soundscapes, Nature Sounds, Acoustic Εcology, Anthropology of Sound, Sociology of Sound, Acoustic Walks, Electrical Walks, Sound Maps.
