About Théophile Gagnard
Composer | Stu Dio Phi | FranceClassical, jazz, and electronic musician for over 20 years, I have a deep interest in sound in all its forms and how it can be applied to video games.
I hold an international Master’s degree in music for video games, studied in Canada and Italy, and I have a background in electronic music production. I’ve had the opportunity to work on a variety of games such as Chickenhare and the treasure of spiking beard, Hamstörm, CLTRS, and Bolt’n’Punch, where I contributed to sound design, music composition, recording, mixing, and audio integration.
For over five years, my passion for sound has driven me to create the vast majority of the sounds I use in my projects. This approach allows me to develop truly original sound identities tailored to each project.
Versatile and curious, I believe that curiosity is essential in a constantly evolving field like video games. I’m convinced that embracing diverse approaches leads to stronger artistic coherence—by engaging with the full process: game design, development, and art direction. I also enjoy collaborating with others who are curious beyond their own area of expertise.
