About Veronica J Lancaster

I like to think of myself as a “found object” artist. I primarily compose soundscapes from sounds or noises that I find…whether from my ever-growing personal library of field recordings or from “found” sounds. Nature and the world around us are full of sound, and I frequently find myself noting new or different or unusual sounds. Of course, when I need to create things like “giant centipede monsters” I have to get a little more creative than what I can find naturally occurring, and then the fun starts!

A lot of my work revolves around creating ambiances, experiences, and immersive soundscapes. Due to the nature of my work and design aesthetic, sometimes it is hard to capture and/or re-create it into short, concise sound bites that work on a website.
