About Vincent Fliniaux

Vincent Fliniaux is a sound artist based in Montreal.
Starting with electric bass, then double bass and finally with microphones and computer, he is always evolving within the music & sound universe.

A jazz musician, graduated in musicology and from the modern music conservatory in France, he finished his studies at the University of Montreal in 2016, learning digital music, audio engineering and orchestration. Here he develops solid skills and a personal music aesthetic, that he continues to sharpen every day since then.

Now he’s working as a freelance sound designer in diverse media and for sound effects companies.

Vincent likes nature, noise music, modular synths, double bass, electroacoustic music, field recordings, photography, paradox.

Naturally curious and eclectic, he always adapt himself on each project he’s working on and is glad to propose his own vision.
