About Andrew Knaggs

I am a 3rd year student at Sheridan College in the Film and Television program. I feel I bring a lot of enthusiasm to the workplace, as I’m told it’s clear by my disposition that my dream job has always been for film sound. I’m also determined to soak up as much knowledge and skill in the time I have by helping you with any post sound jobs you may have.

I am always precise on details from start to finish of every project. Starting with a comprehensive review of every aspect of the mix to see in which ways my sound can mold the project from well-built to indestructible. I am still honing my craft as a sound editor and designer but I have experience that will help me flourish in an Intern position;

I have been making festival-winning grade short-films for 6+ years

I am cognizant and well-versed in Pro Tools, also with professional training in Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer as well as Logic Pro X.

My work in post sound is also influenced by 9+ years of formal music education in recording and performing along with award winning performances with MDHS Concert band, CHB as well as the Arkells.

I have adamant teamwork experience from my past jobs as camp counsellor and Farmer. I’m also used to thinking on my feet and working in a fast-paced environment under pressure from Lifeguarding as well as Instructing.
