About Baylon Fonseca

Baylon Fonseca is an artist who has tirelessly strived towards delivering the “perfect” sound which has led to his work becoming a brand name in itself. His reputation is built on delivering at the highest standards while constantly maintaining excellence, innovation and reliability over the years and this is reflected in his work. To him sound design is a blend of the aesthetic with the artistic. This art of finding the right balance between the elements of dialogue, music, effects, ambiance & music, supports the visual, thereby, subconsciously transporting the audience into the world being cinematically created.

Baylon Fonseca is a Production Mixer, Sound Designer, Sound Editor and Film Re-Recording Mixer all rolled into one. Under his brand image, he has gone on to work with some of the biggest names in the film, commercial and documentary world. He constantly dedicates his resources to helping documentary and independent films makers thereby encouraging out of the box cinema.

Baylon Fonseca is a member of the MPSE (Motion Picture Sound Editors), USA for over a decade and has been serving on the Board of Directors since 2020. He is also a contributing writer for the International section of the MPSE Quarterly, Wavelength.

Baylon Fonseca is a visiting faculty member at the prestigious Satyajit Ray Film & TV Institute, Kolkatta for over a decade. He is known to conduct workshops and masterclasses on invitation in India and outside.
