26+ years of experience in Film and Television. Joined the industry in 1996 working as a boom swinger on films. Mixed a soap opera for 2 years before running a Dolby suite for another 2. Started Freq’ncy Audio in 2000 and grew it to one of the biggest and most successful independently owned Audio post production facilities in Southern Africa, with studios in Johannesburg and Cape Town. Serviced brands such as AB InBev, Unilever and Coca-Cola throughout Africa. Launched Freq’ncy Music in 2016, offering bespoke composition to the commercial industry. Moved from head enginner to adio director in 2017, overseeing engineers and composers. I have won numerous international awards and over 60 Loeries Awards and was on the Loeries judging panel for over a decade.
In 2020 I sold Freq’ncy to pursue new business interests and offer remote sound design and final mix services as an independent operator for long form and short form projects.
