About Hien Nguyen

I’m a Brooklyn-based sound designer and composer. My work includes audio branding with a user experience focus; music, foley and audio effects for motion picture; and electronic sounds for theatre shows. I honed my technology skills during my years working as a lab monitor for Berklee College of Music. My role was focused on troubleshooting music hardware and software issues, and maintaining studio functionality. More recently, I’ve grown my portfolio through freelance projects including creating audio loops in collaboration with Audio UX for Pantone’s official ‘Classic Blue’ sample pack, and designing vocal synth presets for iZotope.
I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Production and Sound Design.
I have high organization skills, and can communicate clearly.
