About Jesper Zeng

Jesper is a Supervising Sound Editor, Sound Designer and Re-recording Mixer in Home Studio Singapore. He embarked on his journey with Home Studio in 2009 following his graduation from the School of Audio Engineering (SAE). Renowned for his meticulous approach to sound crafting, Jesper has garnered acclaim from esteemed collaborators. Notable among his portfolio are the award-winning “Invisible Stories” for HBO, the Golden Horse Award-nominated film “Number 1,” and “Bolt of Talent” featuring Grammy Award-winning artist Michael Bolton.

In addition to his achievements in sound design, Jesper has supervised ADR recordings for Hollywood productions such as “Mortal Kombat” and “Shotgun Wedding,” as well as the Disney Plus series “American Born Chinese.” His collaboration with the chief engineer at Bangkok’s prestigious Kantana Sound Studio, known for its work on acclaimed films like “The Grandmaster” and “Ong Bak,” has equipped Jesper with a rich international skill set and experience.

A proponent of workflow efficiency, Jesper has partnered with Julijan Nikolic, the creator of Youlean Loudness Meter, a Netflix-recommended loudness metering plugin, to enhance its functionalities from an audio post-engineering perspective. Moreover, Jesper has contributed to refining audio specifications for broadcaster Mediacorp Pte Ltd.

Continuously refining his craft, Jesper passionately mentors aspiring sound engineers, sharing his expertise and guiding them toward excellence.
