Composer | Josh Martin Compositions | USA | ColoradoJosh Martin was raised by jazz & rock musicians and was introduced to music early on, learning to play first on piano and then the violin in an orchestral setting.
In his mid-twenties he lived in Los Angeles and collaborated with various art collectives. It was at this time he began songwriting on the guitar. A path that has led to his involvement in several bands spanning genres from twee-punk, folk-rock and most recently an ambient dream-folk project.
His years of experience have not only gained him insight into the recording process but also helped to develop his niche-sound. After some time in Fort Collins (CO), due to word of mouth, he came to the realization that his work, with its emotional ambiance, lent itself well to film. Since, he has been taking pleasure in making original compositions for projects in need.
