Sound designer | GermanyMelih Sarıgöl is born in 1980 in Ä°stanbul, living currently in Berlin. He studied mechanical engineering in METU, where he later earned his masters degree on acoustics and vibration. During his university years he dealt with photography, video and animationfilm and he was active in âkarahaberâ, one of the first videoactivist groups in Turkey. After working in the field as an engineer, he was accepted for a second master study on sound engineering design in ITU MIAM between 2012 and 2014. After his graduation he has been working in various independent documentary, film and video projects as sound recordist and designer. He is using his knownledge on sound on his music project âFezayaFirarâ which is based on electronic improvisation and has been attending various festivals around Europe with it. Besides that, he is creating sound installations for various art exhibitions since 2018.
