About Sven Ostkotte
Sound editor | GermanyMy name is Sven Ostkotte and I live in Bochum. Early in my childhood I knew that I wanted to make music my profession later on. At music school and during music lessons, I noticed that, unlike other kids, I consistently enjoyed practicing an instrument and was always motivated to learn new techniques on my guitar. When my guitar teacher showed me the DAW Cubase (at that time still in version 5), I discovered the hobby, which occupied me from then on continuously.
After my apprenticeship as a process mechanic and another year as a trainee, I knew that I would not be happy in this job and decided to turn my hobby into a profession.
In August 2022 I successfully completed my Audio Engineering Diploma at the SAE Institute in Bochum.
I love to face new challenges every day and am always eager to get better with every production and refine my craft.
