My name is Will Hurd and I am seeking a role in game audio development/implementation! I received my bachelors degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in mechanical engineering, and after working in a multitude of different industries (oil/gas, aerospace, manufacturing), I decided to leave the mechanical field and pursue my true passion in audio! I went back to school at The Blackbird Academy in Nashville to receive a certificate in studio engineering. Since then, I’ve worked at Chicago Recording Company as an assistant engineer, and I’ve launched my own LLC, offering recording, mixing, mastering, and tutoring services to local artists around the city. More recently, I’ve been spending a lot of time recreating stripped video game audio, and I’m very interested in working with a team to develop any type of game, no matter how big or small the project may be.
