Composer | DamianL, Inc. | USA | New YorkI am a composer and sound designer living in Brooklyn. I have a long career of scoring films, starting with low budget horror in the 80s-90s, ten years as a studio owner and audio producer for clients like MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, Christies, Microsoft and more. I helped create an interactive mix of Bjork’s song “I’ve Seen It All”, created sound design for Tom Morello’s “Radio Free LA” and worked with record producer Don Was to produce a track by punk legends X.
I have seven of my own original music releases and one with my band “Glorified Magnified” on Sire/Warner.
I scored, among others, “The Toxic Avenger” (1984), “Splatter University” (1984), “Blue Vengeance” (1989), “The Refrigerator” (1991) and my own “This Spartan Life” (web series from 2005-2015). I have scored and/or created sound design for PBS: Frontline, HBO’s America Undercover, and the recent short films, “Aquacade” (2017) and “Code Ruth” (2018).
