Kirsty Gillmore is a sound designer, voice actor and award-nominated voice over showreel producer.

I’m a voice and casting director, sound designer, voice actor and award-winning producer, and the owner of Sounds Wilde.

My directing and casting work spans games, animation and audio drama. Recent game directing credits include Destruction AllStars (Lucid Games, PS5 title) and Baldur’s Gate 3 (Larian Studios).

I have worked in professional sound for over twenty years, sound designing for award-winning audio dramas for Audible, theatre and opera productions and short film. In 2020 I co-produced, edited, sound designed and mixed the 16-part drama series adaptation of Persuasion for Audible; other audio drama sound design credits include The Space Race (B7 Media/Audible) and The Treasure of Abbot Thomas (Bafflegab Productions). Theatre and opera credits include The Gravity (Bristol Old Vic), The Little Prince (Arcola), Don Giovanni (British Youth Opera), l’Ospedale (Solomon’s Knot), and the award-winning The Shape of the Pain (Summerhall). Film sound editing and mixing credits include the award-winning short An Unkind Word.

I’ve directed and taught at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, given seminars for the Audio Engineering Society and Association of Sound Designers, and I’m also a BAFTA Games juror.

I was shortlisted in the Sound category for the Game Dev Heroes awards in 2020 and in 2019 was named Voiceover Services Provider of the Year at the One Voice Awards (UK).

As a voice actor I can be heard in games, audiobooks, radio drama, commercials and corporate productions worldwide, including the recent BBC Radio 4 production The Christchurch Murder.
