About Stephen Geering
Composer | In Geer Music | USA | CaliforniaStephen Geering has been reaching millions of listeners all over the world with his original songs , scores , and audio productions .He comes from a highly musical family. His mother Jenny was an accomplished concert pianist and teacher, and one of his uncles on his father’s side was a world famous musicologist. Stephen’s parents were from Switzerland. He was educated early starting at age 7 by his mother in all things piano and classical music in Chicago and Ravinia.
Stephen’s first noteworthy success as a composer/songwriter came during post grad studies in scoring for TV/Film at UCLA when his original songs started getting covered by major record label recording artists and their producers. From there he parlayed that into an award winning career in songwriting ,scoring ,and sound design for national TV and Radio commercials. This in turn led to a highly successful career doing the same in the Interactive Game space and also scoring TV shows and Feature Films .
Stephen is always working to help creators and producers enhance their visions , marrying music and sound with picture and new technology . In addition , he works on his own self generated album and technology projects .
Stephen operates both as a one man orchestra and vocalist in the digital workstation world.
and also directing the finest musicians and singers to perform his compositions.
