About Yin Lee

I am an international sound designer, music composer and sound recordist for films, TV, games and commercials. I was born and raised in Taiwan, and currently I am working between the UK and Taiwan.

My recent fiction short films – ‘Shoal’, was shortlisted in BAFTA Student Film Awards, 2020 and ‘Room for Two’ has been selected for BFI FLARE London LGBTIQ+ Film Festival, 2020; my animation short film – ‘The Unknown’ has been selected for Sitges Film Festival, 2020, and my documentary short film has been shortlisted for Best Student Documentary in The Grierson Trust Awards, 2020.

Previously, I worked as a dialogue editor on Amazon Prime’s TV documentary series – ‘Take Us Home: Leeds United’ in 2019.​ Also, I was nominated for the Best Sound Effect of the Golden Bell Award, 2014, for my first feature film – “Proposal”.

Having worked in the sound department and music department for over 6 years, I am genuinely passionate about storytelling through sounds and I am always excited about any new challenges!

Education
