What you will do:Missions: Under the supervision of the Studio Audio Director in Montpellier, you will provide technical solutions for the integration and implementation of audio systems to ensure that the audio assets created by the team function as intended, in line with the audio director’s vision.
- You will work within the middleware (Wwise) and the proprietary engine through scripting or the editor’s graph system.
- You will develop solutions in accordance with the constraints of the Audio Technical Direction and the specifics of the sound engine.
- You will propose audio systems to the Audio Director that improve efficiency and audio integration with other departments (animation, UI, etc.).
- You will also carry out all the responsibilities of a Sound Designer:
- Create audio assets
- Propose audio designs

Your future work environment: The audio team supports all studio projects (marketing, recording sessions, multi-project support) by blending artistic creativity and technical expertise; it is made up of about ten people and an Audio Director.
You will work on the team of Alexandre Carlotti. You will become THE go-to person for the technical aspects of the BGE2 project, at the heart of a passionate team, and you will work in full harmony with the project’s audio programmers.
Qualifications- Knowledge of the principles of audio physics and digital audio.
- Proficiency in using DAWs (REAPER, ProTools) and processors (spectral, temporal, and dynamic).
- Knowledge of techniques for recording voices, sound effects, foley, and ambiences.
- Proficiency in mixing and mastering assets in accordance with loudness standards.
- Use of virtual instruments for sound design and specific plugins for special effects.
- Advanced knowledge of WWISE middleware, object-oriented approaches, ducking, bus structure, HDR, priorities, etc.
- Knowledge of audio resource management in games (memory, voices, CPU usage, etc.).
- Knowledge of visual scripting and engine functionalities.
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, C#, etc.) is required to create scripts for Reaper, Wwise, etc.
